Eating disorders rarely exist in isolation. For example, anxiety, depression or obsessive compulsive disorder can accompany an eating disorder. You may find that you have related psychological or medical issues that need to be dealt with, alongside treatment for your eating problems. In extreme cases you may find that specialists will not be able to treat the eating disorder until the other issues have been dealt with.
Information sheets on these and other issues are available here in our publication section.
