Justgiving.com is a website that helps you publicise your fundraising event online. If you look at www.justgiving.com/paulinerobinson or www.justgiving.com/charlie-paris, you can see how beat fundraisers have used the website effectively.
Our top tip is to start your own Justgiving page. You can select beat as your chosen charity - so all donations go straight to us. You can then upload some photos and information about you, and e-mail your page to your friends, family and colleagues.

A great way to publicise your event is to contact your local press and let them know you're fundraising for beat. This is also a perfect chance to raise awareness of eating disorders.
If you've got any questions - or need help drafting a press release - contact Robert Jackman.
The internet is a great way to reach your sponsors. Why not draft up an e-mail about your fundraising and then send it on to all your friends and family - you can also encourage them to forward it on.
Try putting a link to your Justgiving page in your e-mail signature, that way you'll be reminding people every time you send an e-mail.
And try starting up a Facebook group or event, or perhaps plugging your Justgiving page on your Facebook status.
Why not contact your company or your school to see if they offer matched giving? Many companies are willing to give generous contributions to their employees' fundraising.
It also makes it a lot easier to attract individual sponsors. Your friends will be more willing to give when they know their donation is going further.
