Carer's Assessment

What is it?

A Carer's Assessment is for you to tell social services what help you need with caring for someone.

What sort of help can I get?

  • someone to help with personal care of the person you care for
  • a break from caring
  • help with housework
  • changes to equipment or adaptations to the home
  • emotional support
