Internet Puzzles

Web based health assessment can offer many advantages such as privacy, ease of accessibility and the possibility of immediate feedback, however the lack of face to face contact may be problematic. We want to understand more about the pros and cons of using this type of approach.

We have developed a web based assessment consisting of questionnaires and puzzles and would like your help in determining whether or not it is accurate. The puzzles are fun to do, take about 45 minutes to complete and we will pay you £10 for completing them! They can be done at home, at work, or wherever you have a computer with internet access.

How do I take part?

We are looking for male and female volunteers aged 16 - 55 with:

  • No history of eating disorders
  • Current or past eating disorder (anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa)

You will need Internet access to complete the puzzles. We can arrange access for you at Guys Hospital.

This project is currently on hold. However if you wish to participate please contact Frankie Bishopp f.bishopp@iop.kcl.ac.uk to receive a volunteer registration pack, and we will contact you as soon as it starts running again.
