The aim of this research is to obtain a better understanding about anorexia by looking at the experiences and opinions of those that have it. It is also hoped that the study can inform treatment practice.
The study will take the form of an online focus group held on a private and confidential discussion board where you can meet with likeminded people in a similar situation to you and discuss your opinions about anorexia and treatment issues.
You are eligible to take part if you meet the following criteria:
- You are 18 years old or over
- You have access to the internet
- You are in the process of recovering from anorexia
- You are currently experiencing anorexia or have experienced it in the last 24 months.
The online focus group begins on the 14th May 2007 so if you have any questions about the research or would like further information about how you can take part then please e-mail Sarah Williams as soon as possible at swilliams@qmu.ac.uk
