There she sat, on a rock by the sea,
It being so dull yet colourful,
Sky cloudy but sun still shining,
Waves roaring breeze blowing,
Thinking; “Awaiting to steady my feet,
I am alone, I am a drain.
No hopes, no ideas,
This path, where nothings sane.”There she sat, on a rock by the sea,It being so dull yet colourful,Sky cloudy but sun still shining,Waves roaring breeze blowing,Thinking; “Awaiting to steady my feet,I am alone, I am a drain. No hopes, no ideas,This path, where nothings sane.”
Her long fair hair blew in her face,
As if it was hiding her in disgrace,
She wore only a black dress,
Thin but long.
She was crying but here were no tears,
Just broken hearts, broken smiles, broken fears,
Her hand reached out to touch the water,
Yet it did not reach.
“Why can I not be the sea?
And roam about freely.
Friends to smile
People to see,
To go everywhere,
I hate being me,’
As she gazed up she realised,
A hand had touched her gracefully,
She turned her head and on shoulder,
A hand was resting there.
She starred at this creature
As her dress turned to white,
Her eyes more colourful,
And the sun was shining bright.
“Who are you?” she asked
And it simply replied…
“A friend, a conscience, a dream,
Although it may just seem,
I am a creature like you.”
She smiled and inside her heart,
Each piece was no longer apart,
The misshapen rock, the brutal sea,
Soon turned instantly,
To grass, a lake, a sunlit day.
She wore this white dress
In her discovered place,
Of hope, a smile and a friend,
And now I can safety say,
The End.
