You're Welcome

"You're Welcome is a set of best practice quality criteria, published by the Department of Health, designed to help all health services to become young people friendly. You’re Welcome is particularly relevant for Beat service users, who may be accessing health services, including GP surgeries, hospital services or CAMHS.

You’re Welcome will help ensure that young people receive health care which is confidential, non-judgemental and respects the diverse needs of all young people.

Brook have been commissioned by Department of Health to lead on young people's participation within the You're Welcome pilot project and championing young people's rights to appropriate and effective health care services.

We recently worked with a group of young people who were supported by a leading design agency to develop ideas for the You're Welcome logo, which will become the nationally recognised quality mark. Young people can view the design ideas, give feedback and find out more about the project at www.brookyw.co.uk

Young people's involvement is integral to the You're Welcome project, and at this stage of the design process we believe it is really important for us to get young people's feedback to steer the development of the quality mark."
