Hi there!

We have been contacted by a PhD student who is doing some eating disorders research. She would like to have a live chat with you to gain an insight into your experiences of meal times in eating disorder units. There is a bit more information below.

It would be great if you would participate, the chat will be Tuesday 13th May from 6-7.30pm.

If you would like to participate please e-mail ypf@b-eat.co.uk and I can send you an information and consent form.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Take care

Charlotte

The aim of the study is to gain information regarding peoples' experiences of mealtimes whilst receiving treatment from eating disorder services. In order for people to discuss their views live chats will be conducted, hosted through beat forums.

Topics will be based around peoples' experiences of taking part in meals on eating disorder units, including thoughts whilst eating, emotions felt, and experience of support given.

This information will be helpful to gain insight into service users experiences of mealtimes and aid further research into this area, including development of a questionnaire and possible interventions.
