Just One Day is a national event which explores what a day is like for somebody affected by an eating disorder. Just One Day also highlights how important it is that information and support is easily available for anybody affected by an eating disorder. February the 29th may only happen once every four years but for many people it will be just another day where they have to continue their battle with an eating disorder. For others, the 29th February may be the first day that they are truly free from their eating disorder and able to celebrate their life.

We are looking for people to show us what Just One Day means to them by submitting creative work to be displayed in our online gallery @ www.just1day.org.uk

This creative work could be anything from poetry, artwork, writing, photography or even a video or music clip – you just need to ensure that it is in a format which can be easily uploaded onto the website (see below for further details).

No matter how you have been affected, whether you are caring for somebody with an eating disorder, still working hard in recovery or are now completely free of your eating disorder we want to hear from you. By sharing your day you are helping people really understand what an eating disorder is, what impact it has on the everyday lives of so many people and how they can help.

To find out more and to submit your work on-line please go here http://www.b-eat.co.uk/NewsEventsPressMedia/EatingDisordersAwarenessWeek/JustOneDay

We look forward to seeing the pieces you send in!
