I don't know what to do. i'm in an inpatient unit and have been for 7months. My BMI is healthy now but they're not stopping. I don't know why but they're just not listening to me.

Hey Ellabella, how are you?

I've not had experience of IP, i'm receiving support as an OP so i don't know if my advice/knowledge will be much use to you.

my weight isnt dangerously low but the professionals set a weight usually that allows the person a little security, for example by becoming ill, they are not likely to become underweight and less likely to slip back into unhealthy habits.

It seems like you are findings things tough, just remember how far you have come, and i have so much admiration for you being so strong and brave. I'm always here for you.

I'm unsure of your position but have you tried speaking to family/friends and asked them to talk to staff at IP, or have you explained how you feel? Because part of dealing with an Ed is being given back some responsibilty towards recovery once you are healthier and thinking more rationally.
