the light...

i sat there locked inside my head,

feared as the fat began to spread,

pinchin here and pinchin there,

pullin out my dead blonde hair,

lookin in the mirror,scared of what i saw,

rushed 2the fridge,until i could eat no more,

ran to the toilet,kneeled as if to pray,

let out all the evil that entered me that day,

collapsed on the floor,no more reasons left 2try,

wasnt worthy of the world,now it was time to die,

walking to the chemist to buy my ticket out,

suddenly my numb mind gave a little shout,

the sun began 2shine i could feel it on my skin,

suddenly i realised happy wasnt thin,

the little things id missed out on were finally plain to see,

having fun with people,people who loved me,

id had enuff of livin,livin evry day,

listenin 2the evil n its self destruction way,

i was stronger than the evil i knew it deep inside,

i had 2 hit the bottom b4 i found my mind,

that day i turned a corner it lead to the home straight,

im strollin to the finish line,smiling,feelin great.
