Hi I'm new and a little nervous but I'm going through a tough time right now and was told using these message boards might be useful. I'm at uni and currently its exam season which I (like most people) find really stressful. But it seems to be even more stressful when you suffer from an ED. I know that this is the time of the year that it's crucial that I eat regular meals, so that my brain can function properly and I can concentrate. But because I'm stressed and anxious all the time it is also the time of the year that I least feel like eating. So every meal becomes a struggle. I know its exam season for everyone at the moment whether you are at school or uni and I wanted to know if anyone else suffers from this problem and if they have any tips to try to make it better. I do suffer from this problem, and agree that it is a lot harder to cope with when you are trying to cope with an ed as well.
I'm sorry I can't give you any advice as I am rubbish with exams and just end up panicking and forgetting everything, but I wanted you to know that you are not alone.
I also feel a lot worse about eating in the summer. I don't know why but I am genuinely rarely hungry in the summer because of the heat and so trying to make myself eat takes a lot more effort.

Hey hunni,
Im doin my SATs exams next week and im gettin stressed out enough without having to do exams too!
What i am doing is taking those omega oil tablets cos they r meant to make you really brainy!
This is just a little thing i was told but when you are in an exam your brain works overtime and so it actually works faster and better under pressure. And dont panic cos you will get really stressed the best thing i can say is go in there confident and you will ace them! Good Luck!
