Whatever doesn't kill me can only make me stronger.

Yes, at some point or otha we've all herd that sayin. But is it true?

Now I'm in no way saying that an ED is positive; but I think it has changed me and given me a whole new perspective on life. And I've matured and learnt lessons that will take my peers years and years to lern.

So; did it make me stronger?

Physically, no. I'm a shadow of Aiden two years ago.

But mentally, after fighting back against an ED (and still fighting), I think that I am much stronger.

What do you all think? Are you stronger?

hey,

I agree with the saying I think.

I think that what you say about being physically weaker, but mentally stronger is very true for most of us with ed's.

at the moment I would say that I'm not stronger in either respect (I am also suffering with severe depression which is quite bad at the moment) but a few weeks ago I would have said that I was mentally stronger.

hope you are doing okay?

keep strong and keep fighting, you're doing amazingly well!! =)

always here if you ever want to talk,

let me know how things are going,

take care,

Hi again,

I agree with this too. The only way to recover is to beat the part of you that is trying to take over and ruin your life. You have to do it yourself as it is an evil part inside of you. No amount of help can beat it without your determination.

I think that physically I am stronger now that I have began to put on the weight, but the biggest improvement in strength is in my mind.

Keep fighting it until you are the winner. Everyone is so strong for going through this.
