Hello

I've been attempting recovery on and off for four-ish years now and when I'm having a hard few weeks it seems like I've not achieved anything and when I'm having a good few weeks it seems like anything is possible ..... So I'm feeling in a good mood tonight so I'm going to take advantage of this and write down my own reasons why I want to recover or what recovery means to me (feel free to add your own) ....

1. I want  to show my body I respect it.

2. I want to be happier with myself and accept that I have imperfections - That doesn't make me horrible it just makes me unique.

3. I want to be able to help people who are/have experienced self harm and eating disorders so I need to recover myself first!

4. I want to set an example for my children and the children that I look after

5. Recovery from eating disorders is possible - It's a challenge I'm ready to accept it!
