Hey Everybody Okay - this is going to sound really vain considering all the other much worse effects of my ED, but I am really worried about my hair! I went to the hairdressers the other day and it is just falling out in clumps and she told me its being doing that for months. Everytime I run my hands through it some falls out. Also my natural curl is becoming more and more frizzy and soft like baby hair ad it just looks a mess. I know how van I might sound, but when my hair looks bad it just makes me feel even less body cofident and my self-esteem drops even lower. Like today I didn't want to leave the house because I feel fat and my hair looks like crap. It just adds to things. I thought maybe now I'm gaining it would be in better condition, but its not. Help- has anyone else found this a problem? And please tell me it doesn't last. ly xxx

hey there,

im afraid your hair loss is due to your body's lack in nutrients. sorry to be a bore...but if you said your gaining im sure it wont last for ever. I totally get that you feel worse when your hair doesnt look great. When i had the same thing i just tied it back and tried to forget about it..i would suggest wearing hats but it is august!! i know it sucks hun..i empathise. only eating more im afraid will help.

am here if you want to moan..

love Ally xxxx

Please don't panic or give up- this is just a stage and keeping doing what you're doing is the only way forward.

I really hope that helps xxx
