Aaargh! Why do they always have to use thin girls who look so beautiful?
Now shops are launching their summer ranges i cant go anywhere without looking at bikini models!
Anyone see that Marks and Spencer advert with the lighthouse and everyone dancing in underwear? I cant even watch that without crying.
Its so depressing, can someone please put some sense into these people!?

I know what you mean, but things are changing. About three years ago there was nothing but skinny women on the television, now they seem to be gradually using more and more normal looking people because people are complaining. It just takes time to change people's attitudes, but it does eventually happen!
If particular advert bothers you it might be worth making a written complaint to the television company, they'll probably take it off the air if they think people are offended.
I think also it is our part to think about how we respond to those adverts. A lot of the time when they show skinny beautiful women in a company's clothes they are trying to imply that if you buy these clothes then you look like these women, not that only women who look like that can wear those clothes! It is also our responsiblity as viewers to analyze what is put forward to us on the television so we know when they're speaking garbage and can complain.
