Beat regularly publishes reports based on our extensive research with people suffering from and caring for someone with an eating disorder. These reports form the basis of our campaigns, media features and help to raise the awareness and understanding of eating disorders.
This report was published following research with family members about how they are involved in treatment and support for their loved one who is suffering from an eating disorder. Use the link below to download the report.
This report was published as a part of our campaign for Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2011. Over 1000 people took part in our survey into the use of images of people with eating disorders in the media. Using these findings we created this report which also helped to inform our media guidelines.
Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2010 coincided with the election campaign - and we published our manifesto with five key points and a call to action for the new government. It is vital that the Government understands the importance of treatment for people with eating disorders, and we are campaigning for access to treatment, support in schools and raising public awareness of eating disorders.
