Eating Disorders: Guidance for Teachers – Lewis-Johnson and Lewis Copy

This book is aimed at secondary school teachers, although it may also useful to primary school teachers. Whilst presenting general information, it also gives advice on how teachers can recognise pupils with eating disorders. The text looks at how the teacher can respond to the child as well as the family and friends. It also suggests ways of working with students to adjust personal goals as well as stressing the need for medical intervention. The authors also seek to inform the reader on the possible courses of treatment.
