Supervision or formal support is an essential part in ensuring the wellbeing of all our volunteers.
It gives you the opportunity to discuss any difficulties or successes within the groups, to reflect on your work as a volunteer and is an excellent means of obtaining supervision for your role as a Group Facilitator.
Beat provides Telephone Supervision for all Group facilitators with an appropriate professional. The sessions are in the form of a professionally facilitated telephone conference call, with up to 5 volunteers accessing the call. Currently, as attendance has been low, only 1 supervision session is being held each month. All sessions run between 7pm-8pm.
Supervision sessions will be held on:
Please note that issues discussed within the Conference call are bound by Beat's Confidentiality Policy. (Refer to Beat's Confidentiality Policy).
If you would like any further information about telephone supervision, or to book onto a session, please contact the Network Development Officer Louise Dunne, or phone 01603 753338.
