New Beat website - Susan Ringwood, Chief Executive

July 22, 2011 at 11:59 AM

There’s been a great buzz in the Beat offices for the past few days as everyone works hard to get our fantastic new website set up, ready, and packed full of the information we know people will expect and need.

I’m so proud of the team here- their dedication and sense of purpose. It really matters to us that we work hard to get it right.  We are always striving to improve what we do, and I know the new website is going to be steps ahead of our previous one.

Beat is known for being at the forefront of using technology to help and support people and the website is such an important part of that. We wanted the new one to be more active, responsive and engage people more in our work. Nothing can be future proof, and there are bound to be glitches that we will only find when it has gone ‘live’....but we are ready!

Our website is our public face, our high street window, our presence in people’s homes and in their lives. Reaching out, contacting people, giving them hope and encouragement to seek recovery, regaining their lives is what we do all day, every day.
