On Wednesday 31st August 2011, David Barton (Head of Enterprise) and Jaye Valori (Sales and Marketing Officer) met with Matthew Lawson, Community Liaison Officer & Club Nutritionist to Notts County Football Club, to discuss a possible partnership between Beat and the club.
Notts County runs a Change4Life initiative entitled, “A game of two halves”, delivering healthy eating and Physical Education sessions to schools across Nottingham. The club have agreed to help raise awareness of Beat at these sessions by distributing leaflets and informing staff at the schools of the services we offer.
Beat will be running an ‘Awareness Day’ at a Notts County football match this season. Please keep an eye on the Enterprise Section of the Beat site here: http://www.b-eat.co.uk/support-us/enterprise/corporate-partnerships/ for details of this event.
Beat would like to thank Matt for approaching us and are really excited about working with the club in the future.
