Well I am shocked and saddened by the attitude of your GP - I was dragged to my GP by a very concerned "mum" and my GP could not have been more understanding and supportive (AN in my case).

These illnesses cannot be dismissed so lightly.

Seek opinion of another GP in the practice and tell them how you felt... I really hope you get the help you deserve and meantime, you will certainly find support on here!!
