Hello there!

Firstly, thank you so much for clicking my post here, and for reading.

I'm totally brand new to the beat boards, and am feeling confident about making some really nice friends here.

I'll be as brief as I can My name is Sally, I'm 27, and have been punching away at Anorexia now for about 7 years now. I was diagnosed in 2006 ish, and battled away to get rid of the nasty thing ever since.

Sadly the last couple of months have seen a return of the monster, and I'm currently slipping a bit..SO I thought I would turn to beat

Back when I was very poorly, I actually called the beat helpline, and the difference the lady made that night, for me, was just a gift...

I think talking to people here, and sharing ambition and cheering each other on to feel better and know that there is support out there, and that we're not alone, will really take the edge off any low points...and just add to the recovery high points.

Anyway, a really BIG hello, and let's stay super strong

re: Hi strong, and lovely people :)

Hello my name is Sally too! (Good name to have!) i am 24, and at the age of 12 - 23 I struggled massively with Bulimia/Anorexia, i now say positively i am in recovery, last year Feb 2011 i ended up in A and E without realising and in July this year, a friend called an ambulance.

In August i had some time off work, and read/listened too the book (heard about it and down loaded it on my phone) Things Get better by Katie Piper. I still struggle at times if i feel i am eating too late at night, or if i feel i have eaten too much - i know i do have a sweet tooth. In October this year i moved up to a new area, where my Mum lives and have moved in, so now back with a parent, but its nice to have the company, and i am determined to make this a positive change.

I want to be happy and i if i am at home, i watch a funny program, recently i have been watching My family - the series with the Harpers in - makes me laugh.
