Hi girls, sorry I haven't been on very often over last few months. I had been monitoring one of my moles over last couple of years and when checked it at beginning of jan it had drastically changed. I went to the doctors who referred me to hospital - to cut a long story short it was a malignant melanoma. Had an operation on my back to remove the wider area and another mole that had been removed within that area was also cancerous- had another op and was given all clear. The nurse told me that it doesn't come back in 99.9% of cases. As you can probs imagine my head has been all over the place, especially with having to try and stay in recovery as well and the side of me that immediately skips to worst case scenario has been in overdrive. The hospital have been really supportive. Have to go every 3 months for checks. My anxiety has been all over place and I have asked to be referred to CBT as well as I really can't go on like this, always looking for something to worry and stress about.



Mazzar - sorry you're on the high steroids again and are missing sitting out in the sun but after what I've been through you're probably safer inside! Hope you start to feel better soon.



Izzy, how are you doing? Did you manage to go for a swim with your little one and your mummy friends? Have you got all your new summery clothes as well? I went to see my little nephew last weekend and bought myself another lovely short dress for over my leggings - I loventhe 60s styles that are out now.



Bunnylove - that's good that your family went to see you in the play and that you have all started to see each other more regularly, it must be making you feel a lot happier.



Hope you are all ok - make sure you slap the high factor sun tan lotion on - not that I'm paranoid haha
