Vacancies at beat

beat seek to recruit staff and volunteers who can demonstrate a commitment to our manifesto and call to action:

Eating disorders will be beaten

Director of Income and Enterprise

£45K + pension

Location - flexible in relation to our Norwich Office

beat is a small, award winning national charity taking on a big mission. We believe that eating disorders will be beaten.

We have a dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff and volunteers and a turnover of £1million. We need to grow substantially to meet an increased demand for our services.

We are seeking a Director of Income and Enterprise to develop and expand our existing commercial enterprises; exploit our intellectual capital; find new business; and to generate profitable income for our core charitable work.

Recent exposure to NHS or education sectors would be an advantage. Prior charity experience is less important than commercial instincts and entrepreneurial flair.

This new post is a high level role reporting directly to the Chief Executive and requiring commercial experience gained in a marketing, publishing or sales environment.

It is an opportunity to work in an organisation where your contribution will be highly visible, recognised and make a real difference to people’s lives. It is a challenge that we can reward with a negotiable package of benefits which include flexible working and a generous pension contribution.

Call CEO Susan Ringwood on 0870 770 3256 ext 221 for an informal discussion.
