Adult Carers' Online Support

Due to changes in staffing our Adult online support groups for recoverers and carers are currently on hold until further notice.  We anticipate the re-launch of the online groups in the near future. In the meantime our message boards are available to support anyone concerned about themselves or someone else affected by eating disorders.

Who is this group for?

If you’re 18 or over and are a parent, friend or partner of someone who is affected by an eating disorder you are welcome to join our online support groups. There’s no pressure to attend every time and you can attend as often or as little as you like.

What happens at an Online Support Group?

Carer Online Support Groups provide a comfortable and supportive environment where you can share your experiences, thoughts, successes and problems with others in similar situations. Each group is facilitated by a Beat online group facilitator and a staff moderator who provide a safe space for discussion and may signpost you to other sources of support if appropriate.

Themes and Speakers

Our Carer Online Groups have an open format, providing service users the chance to raise discussion points on their own accord. Groups last approximately 1 hour and a half.

Dates and times for Carer Online Support Groups 2015
