Fundraising

Every year we rely on the support of our fantastic team of Beat volunteer fundraisers doing lots of fun things to raise money in aid of our work.  The money you raise helps us continue to run our vital support services helping people with eating disorders and their families.

There are so many ways you can fundraise for Beat! The opportunities are endless! Below are some great ideas to get you thinking about some of the things you can do

  • Hold your own event
  • Have a bake sale
  • Organise a lunchtime car wash!
  • Have a Dress Down Day at work
  • Hold a car boot sale
  • Leave us a gift in your will
  • Donate a day! A day's salary, donations instead of birthday gifts or wedding gifts!
  • Hold a sports day or a sporting event
  • Organise a quiz night
  • Take part in an organised event such as running races, overseas adventure, trek, cycle or swim
  • Nominate Beat within your workplace for Charity of the Year

For any fundraising event you take part in, don't forget to ask your employer if they take part in Matched Giving. This means your employer could match each donation you receive so you could potentially double your donations!
