Beats ability to help sufferers of eating disorders, their families and carers is made possible due to the generosity of the public who provide a key source of our income. This fundraising would not be possible without the remarkable support of volunteers, helping us collect the funds that will enable us to continue.

Volunteer to continue this vital work and to enhance the quality of life for as many people as we can.

What will I be doing?

  • Placing collecting goblets strategically in locations that you think will be the most lucrative
  • Emptying the collecting goblets on a monthly basis
  • Keeping an accurate record of goblet locations and the money collected
  • Banking the collected goblet money and sending receipts to Beat
  • Promoting Beat
  • Maintain and uphold the good name and reputation of the Charity
  • Take reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others

What skills and qualities do I need to have?

  • Enthusiasm and ambition for the work of Beat
  • A team player and a willingness to get involved with new activities
  • Good knowledge of your local community
  • Outgoing and proactive
  • Basic computer skills
  • Honesty and Integrity
  • Influencing and persuading skills
  • Willingness to have a CRB check

How much time do I need to commit?

As a Fundraising Volunteer co-ordinator, you control the time you give, and we hope that you will be able to fit volunteering in with your work and other commitments.
